It’s so intimate,
Getting to know a place.
To memorize its streets,
To recognize people out and about,
To share it with the people you love,
To have a handful of favorite spots you become a regular at,
To create/find community.
To fall in love with a place,
And maybe grow out of it.
I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
